Overseas Packing
As with any removal, storage or transportation job – correct packing procedures, carried out by trained staff, with the correct packing materials, is the first, and most important step in ensuring that your goods arrive at their destination in perfect condition.
The importance of careful packing is especially relevant when shipping goods long distances internationally, be either sea or air. Whilst we only use trusted transport suppliers who treat goods carefully, the length of time in which your goods are in transit demands high performance from their packing materials. All of our staff at Richardson Moving & Storage have been trained in how to correctly protect all manner of goods and this approach allows us to move everything from sofas, to antiques and grand pianos.
All of our packing materials are of the highest quality, and our relationships with suppliers ensures that we can provide these materials at the lowest possible prices. Whilst there is no ‘typical move” job, some of the materials we use include Moving Boxes, “Strongrap” sofa covers, Mattress Covers, Hanging Garment Carriers, “Furnisoft” Bubble Laminate as well as Deep Packing Materials. All of our packing techniques satisfy international transport regulations e.g. ISPM15 timber packaging, and we can also take care all paperwork and legislative requirements, associated with your move.
