COVID-19 UPDATE

Service postponement due to Covid-19

After much internal and external discussion, we have come up with the following which will be our policy for the foreseeable future. We consider this to be ground-breaking within our industry and one that reflects our beliefs of fairness, transparency and building long lasting client relationships.

Postponement by us – The Government has stated that it will be implementing (as yet) unspecified measures to combat the spread of the virus. In the event that such measures are put in place which impact our ability to provide services to you (including but not limited to us having to suspend or cancel in full the services), or the virus otherwise affects our ability to fulfil your relocation, we will not be in a position to accept any liability for any losses that may arise and we limit our liability accordingly. Any monies paid will be refunded.

Postponement by you (The Client).

If the reason for postponement is anything but Covid-19 then our standard T&Cs will apply.

If anyone in your house has covid symptoms and you need to postpone your move prior to commencement – We would require an email from your solicitor confirming the reason that the postponement has taken place. If this email is received then there will be no charge and any monies paid will be refunded.

If anyone in your chain has covid symptoms and you need to postpone your move prior to commencement – We would require an email from that party’s solicitor confirming the reason that the postponement has taken place is Covid-19. If this email is received then there will be no charge and any monies paid will be refunded.

The reason we have asked for Solicitor e-mails is to take out the burden of proof away from the client.
